Market NOW Open - Dec. 31, 2012 HAPPY NEW YEAR
This post expired on December 30, 2022.
Message from Market Manager
HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR
As we launch our third year online we reflect on how our Market has evolved since January 2011. More and more customers are expressing gratitude for the fresh, chemical-free produce we deliver year round. We will continue to support our customers in making healthier choices for their diet and lifestyle. We thank you in advance for supporting our Market in the year ahead! You can do this, not only by shopping regularly but by recruiting friends and family to join a co-op in your neighborhood. This year’s goal is to double our co-op locations. Will you help us to do that? In short: it takes just two people to form a co-op, you don’t have to handle any money, and you don’t have to be there to accept delivery! Here are the simple guidelines explaining our “Fresh Fridays” co-op program.
SALE TO CELEBRATE LAUNCH OF OUR THIRD YEAR ONLINE!
Pastured chickens reduced to $4.29 lb. this week only!…in appreciation for your support of our online Market.
PORK IS BACK!
NEW GROWERS
Have you noticed that our Grower base is expanding? Slow but sure, local urban farmers are signing on to share their produce overage with the St. Petersburg Community. Our goal is to become self-sustaining and not have to purchase additional produce volume outside of St. Petersburg. Thanks to building customer demand, more Growers are recognizing the important benefits they reap by selling through our Market. There IS a grateful community just waiting for their produce to appear. Do you know any chemical-free produce growers in your neighborhood? Have you told them about us? Please do! YOU are key in helping us to build the small town farming community of yesteryear RIGHT HERE in lovely St. Pete! The “vibes” of a healthy community are in the air!
YOUR DEADLINE TO ORDER FROM GERALDSON COMMUNITY FARM (GCF) IS TUESDAY 6PM
If you have interest in purchasing from Geraldson Community Farm (GCF), PLEASE ORDER your produce from them by Tuesday, 6:00 PM. If you don’t want to place your entire order right away, you can always come back and place a separate order from other Growers before Wednesday noon when the Market closes. We are required to place our order with GCF early Wednesday morning and it will help us NOT to over-order. THANK YOU for working with us on this.
BUY A GIFT AND SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES Check our Q&A page for suggestions!
WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST CUSTOMERS! Once you have submitted your order, if in doubt about what you owe, you can always confirm what you have been charged for by checking your account history and viewing your most current invoice. Instructions on how to do that are on our Q&A page under the question entitled Since you don’t provide an invoice with delivery, how do I know what I owe? . Also, since your vegetables are picked fresh within 24 hours of delivery, they should be lasting for WEEKS in your refrigerator. When you accept delivery, please take a few minutes to inspect your order to protect your vegetables from unnecessary spoilage. Lastly, it is imperative that you understand our policy on Unclaimed Orders found on our Q&A page. When you make a purchase you are agreeing to abide by this policy.
