MARKET TUTORIAL
Need some helpful hints to shop our Market? Professional Videographer and Market Volunteer Jeff Yentzer has put together a great 8-minute Market Tutorial that everyone can learn from. Check it out and then share it with anyone who asks about us! Thanks so much, Jeff, for your dedication to helping us succeed within the St. Petersburg Community.
MARKET FARE
You are going to notice a lovely variety of eggplant this week. Also, those who have been inquiring on availability of seedlings will be pleased to see nice offerings for your summer garden. Grow your own summer foods and enjoy the convenience of a backyard harvest! We’ll have offerings all summer long for whatever you don’t grow. That’s a great partnership we can form to insure that you get FRESH, high quality produce for your family table.
PRODUCE & PRODUCT FEEDBACK
I am always seeking feedback from customers on produce, products, quality, packaging etc. You are encouraged to contact me with any comments even if you think they are minor. All of them impact the image we want to create for our Market (our little piece of paradise) here in St. Petersburg. The sooner you contact me, the quicker I can address any concerns, process any refunds, and reset the course for success for our growers, our Market, and most of all make you happy!
IS FRUIT IMPORTANT TO YOU?
You’ll probably notice there isn’t any fresh fruit on the Market this week. Lately, there is barely any demand for it and the Market has been taking a loss. Let me know if/how important fruit is for you? I am at a loss as to what our customers want me to provide. Apples and pears sell really well when I can get them domestically but most of them are imported right now. Also, Winn Dixie had great prices on organic apples that I can’t beat. Check them out!
WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST CUSTOMERS!
Once you have submitted your order, if in doubt about what you owe, you can always confirm what you have been charged for by checking your account history and viewing your most current invoice. Instructions on how to do that are on our Q&A page under the question entitled Since you don’t provide an invoice with delivery, how do I know what I owe? Also, since your vegetables are picked fresh within 24 hours of delivery, they should be lasting for WEEKS in your refrigerator. When you accept delivery, please take a few minutes to inspect your order to protect your vegetables from unnecessary spoilage. Lastly, it is imperative that you understand our policy on Unclaimed Orders found on our Q&A page. When you make a purchase you are agreeing to abide by this policy.
