Mrs. Chippy's Plant World

I am a sole proprietor registered with the FL Division of Corporations (#G14000111688) and I have a current State of Florida backyard nursery license. My focus is growing food, propagating plants and providing a haven for pollinators. I have a combination of grafted fruit trees, several raised beds for veggies and herbs (culinary and medicinal). My soil is a mix of garden soil from Mother’s Organics into which I incorporate finished compost and worm castings. If needed, I use Neem oil as a pesticide in a targeted way. My seeds are all non-GMO and organic whenever possible sourced primarily from High Mowing (Vermont), Botanical Interests (Colorado) and Johnny’s Selected Seeds (Maine). My invaluable mentors are Sister Gail Worcelo (Green Mountain Monastery in Greensboro, VT); Linda Wickenheiser (Red Rake Farm, Hanover, VA) and in FL, Debra Thompson (Edible Plant Store), Gaia’s Guardians, the Tampa Bay Rare Fruit Council and the UF Extension Service (Pinellas County).
