The motto at Bedrock Living is “Living your best life”. I believe that living well means eating well, sleeping well, and moving well. Living well also includes incorporating chemical free, natural products into a holistic approach to total wellness.

I decided in 2012 to change my entire approach to living, beyond merely existing to actually thriving. It started with a decided focus on what I fed my body, and over time developed into much, much more. I realized that we are increasingly plagued by illnesses, allergies, diseases and in many cases we are barely surviving, even if we believe we are doing everything “right”. I began to study nutrition, and found that it truly does all begin with food, but not only are we poisoning ourselves inside, in many cases, our environment is toxic as well. This led to me to investigating further ways to protect my family both inside and out.

I developed my blog, my Facebook page, my coaching practice and became a bi-weekly contributor to Paleo Movement Magazine. Along the way, a series of “happy accidents” created the product line you will find at St. Pete Locally Grown.

I didn’t realize that my effort to reduce the toxic overload of fluoride, parabens, detergents, chemicals, additives, preservatives, & colorants (to name a few) for my own family and my readers would ultimately result in the creation of a household product line. When I first published an article on the dangers of commercial toothpaste, I received an overwhelming response, not for my recipe, but an interest in purchasing these items. What was once my own little concoction has become the basis for a line of “safe”, “clean” and “real” body care items.

I’ve been thrilled over the past year and a half to meet so many like minded people interested in health, wellness, environmentalism and ethics. Perhaps the most rewarding part of my business is finding that there is a growing movement reaching back in time to the health that was ours before industrialism, biotechnology and pharmaceutics found more convenient ways to feed us, while slowly leading us astray.

Bedrock living offers holistic wellness coaching, nutrition & fitness coaching, and preservative free, chemical free, additive free, artificial colorant & fragrance free natural hygiene products that don’t just work… they heal.

All of our products are also grain free, gluten free, dairy free, artificial sweetener free, refined sweetener free, soy free, GMO free and are certified Paleo Friendly. We use organic and pesticide free ingredients. In addition, every product is hand made in our home kitchen in small batches.
