PARC in Bloom was created by Leadership St Petersburg Class of 2013. PARC in Bloom is an inclusive and vocational horticulture program for the adults enrolled in Life Skills Development at PARC. PARC in Bloom offers a garden of healthy food choices, sustainable job training opportunities, revenue generating initiatives, and a therapeutic work environment that fosters personal growth.

The vegetables raised at PARC in Bloom are done so, in accordance with organic standards. The soil consisists of an assortment of locally sourced amendments, including manure, soil builder from the city, seagrass and compost.

Over the course of 60 years, PARC has been on the forefront of children’s services, transportation support, residential services, adult day training activities, employment services and behavior support & services for individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities.
