Always chemical-free. Our offerings include sprouts and micro-greens as well as high quality certified organic seeds for sprouting at home. These babies are all soil-grown for optimum vitality and nutrition. A soil blend of mature home-made compost and sustainably harvested peat moss is where we put our roots down. While they don’t need much direct light, we only use natural sunlight to get the chlorophyll going in these tender greens. They are grown outside, under the protection of a shade house, in sunny downtown St. Petersburg, FL.
I have been growing sprouts for 12+ years. Starting with jar sprouts, providing for just myself, house-mates, and friends, later making it a job, working at Ann Wigmore Institute in Aguada, Puerto Rico. At the Institute we planted and harvested around 60 trays a day, mostly sunflower greens and wheatgrass. While working there I witnessed many healing miracles among those who came to the institute, sometimes very ill, to learn Ann Wigmore’s ‘Living Food Lifestyle’.
