Selling local honey from Pinellas county and Hillsborough county.I have been a beekeeper for the past 3 years and have 40 colonies here in Pinellas county.

Taste of Freedom Farm is a family run company dedicated to bringing agriculture back to our communities through an active demonstration of providing for ourselves off of the land. We believe urban society at large has forgotten how to provide for themselves in a real tangible way. We aim to remind people that living in a free society is a blessing that requires good stewardship. The proper maintenance of our freedom today requires the re-learning of the knowledge of yesterday.

NOTES ON HONEY CRYSTALLIZATION: Crystallization involves the separation of sugars and that can make honey look cloudy and extremely thick. It does not mean the honey has spoiled. Crystallization can happen anywhere from 1 month to 1 year depending on the moisture content and the type of nectar in the honey. Also, cold weather can cause it. Some honeys made up north never crystallize. If your honey has crystallized, we recommend that you reconstitute it by heating it up. There are several methods: 1) run a few seconds in the microwave in its current container or 2) remove the honey and place in a glass jar; then set the jar in a hot pan of water that has been heated on the stove.
